For this fancy Christmas Stocking only 13 hexagons have to be crocheted, which are then connected to each other according to a certain scheme to form a sock shape. This results in a fancy and reusable Christmas decoration!
If you want to use it for filling sweets in and/or giving it away, it is best to line it with a beautiful fabric - you can of course also find the sewing tutorial at the end of this ebook! ;-)
The hexagon motif was specially designed by me for this crochet project, but is of course also suitable for other crochet projects, such as bags, blankets, coasters, pillows, etc.
This crochet project is relatively easy, but joining the hexagons demands a little practice and patience. Basic knowledge of crocheting (slip stitches, single crochets, half, normal, double double crochets) is required. For very new crochet beginners, it is not the right entry-level project.
The crochet pattern (PDF) comprises 12 pages including sewing tutorial for the optional fabric inner stocking and contains numerous colored illustrations that describe and illustrate each working step in detail.
