A crocheted shawl is a classic among fashionable accessories.
Made of trendy gradient yarn, it is a modern companion and can be worn in different
wearing styles throughout the year – whether loosely around the shoulders on balmy summer
evenings or wrapped around the neck in windy autumn and spring.
Shawl Portocovo is worked from side to side (or left to right). The bottom edge is straight,
the upper edge increases continuously (by adding one stitch per row) until the middle,
then decreases continuously (by decreasing one stitch per row) until you finally end up with one stitch again.
Crocheting shawl PORTOCOVO is very simple and is therefore suitable for crochet beginners.
Basic skills in crocheting are required.
This manual is provided as a PDF file and includes 13 pages with many colored illustrations,
several crochet charts/graphics and text/decription, using US crochet terms.
In addition, it explains exactly how to make the tassels and securely attach them to the shawl.
Important note: This is NOT a finished shawl, but only a written tutorial (PDF file) to crochet such.
Unique items made according to this manual may be sold commercially.
A reference to the author of the design is obligatory.
